Dagsins
Project Description
A daily puzzle platform in Icelandic, built for short games you can finish on a coffee break. It had to make sense within seconds of landing, and still have enough character that people come back the next morning.
Dagsins began as one idea: a fast daily puzzle anyone can understand from the first click. We kept the interface out of the way of the game itself and put the personality into colour and feedback instead. It is still in development, so the design system was built loose enough to absorb new game modes and screens without having to be redrawn each time.

Typography
Two typefaces, split by job. JUST Sans carries the body copy, the interface labels, and anything small, because a game people open every morning cannot afford type that gets tiring by the second week.

AMINUTE handles the loud parts: titles and the wordmark. It is compact and a little offbeat without tipping into childish, and the alternate A gives the identity something to be recognised by. JUST Sans keeps everything else legible.

The off-whites are there so the screen stays easy on the eyes when you are playing every day. The deep purple does the job black usually does, but with more of an opinion. Everything brighter is saved for feedback and progress, which keeps the energy in the moments that have earned it.
